Hi, we set up Better Public Speaking to help you make a positive impression and get your message across, whatever the occasion.
Based in London, we offer a bespoke coaching service, that can help you raise your industry profile by providing the support you need to deliver a more effective and engaging keynote presentation.
Proven techniques and years of performance experience will help you to calm your nerves and focus on the meaningful things you want to say at a wedding or social event.
And we can share valuable skills designed to make you feel more assured, focused and ready to make your case ahead of an important business meeting.
We believe that everyone should have a voice and that everyone has something unique to say. That's why our focus is always on listening to you, building on your existing strengths and tailoring my approach to meet your needs.
It all starts with you.
We'll listen to you and discuss your goals. And together we'll draw up a plan to meet them.
We can work on exercises and techniques to calm nerves. We'll address breathing, posture, body language and vocal projection.
We can try out different speaking styles and find the one that best suits your needs and personality.
We can help analyse and break down your speech and presentation. And of course we'll rehearse it with you, giving positive and insightful feedback that will help you feel as prepared as you possibly can be.
If you're not sure why not get in touch for an informal chat, no strings attached.
I am the founder and director of Better Public Speaking and I have two decades experience of stage and screen performance and corporate training.
Schooled at the Contact Theatre, Manchester and the Bridge Theatre Training Company in London, I've performed in plays across the country, am a regular on the London comedy circuit and have written and directed a series of cutting-edge short films.
I have become a specialist in working with the corporate client, running communication training and role playing for some of the UK's biggest organisations.

Why employ the services of a public speaking/presentation skills expert?
As our population relies more and more on digital technologies often essential, effective one to one communication skills become overlooked.
What do we do?
We help students to identify common obstacles to effective communication and find strategies to overcome them. We will teach helpful and essential techniques when being interviewed, fielding questions or speaking in public. We can help groups of up to 20 students at a time navigate the interview process more effectively whether they are applying for a job, a college course or a university application.
Our recent work at Harris Girls Academy East Dulwich helped students who were being entered for The Articulation prize. We can tailor our sessions to your needs.
